Jonathan grows up so fast. Whenever I think of the speed he’s growing and that time once passed never returns, I melt. He has been, and always is, so precious and adorable.

In October after daddy’s birthday, we took a break and went to Hawaii…
Jonathan’s Birthday
Then it’s another big day – Jonathan’s Birthday on the Thanksgiving day. Turkey baby ate lots of turkey and corn. We had a series of Birthday surprises for Jonathan. 😉
Our Lego Prodigy: Jonathan created many interesting things out of his imagination, ranging from car carrier trucks, airplanes, San Francisco buildings, gas stations, taxis, to harvester trucks.
Compassionate Boy
We went shopping for Zoe’s birthday present. Jonathan wanted dump trucks, but when I presented him with 3 options for Zoe, Jonathan picked the flowery drawers with very cute beads while saying “This one. Zoe likes flowers.” Obviously, he remembered from when he played with her all these months. He didn’t buy things he liked, but he bought things he thought the receiver would like. 🙂
And Jonathan has such good memory. Many months ago a grasshopper gave Jonathan a visit in his bedroom. We eventually put it outside our front door, but many hours later I accidentally stepped on the poor grasshopper when we were getting ready to go out. Mommy explained to him that it was an accident, and I felt really bad for the grasshopper.
And many months later, Jonathan spotted a picture of a grasshopper in a book, and he said “à ¸ªà ¸‡à ¸ªà ¸²à ¸£ grasshopper (poor grasshopper) … mommy stepped on it.”  (==’)
He’s also a very good assistant to daddy as he reminded daddy to do many things such as … zip up his pants and jackets, put on a matching pair of shoes, remember to get something daddy forgot like daddy’s backpack… or when I asked daddy where Thomas was, Jonathan promptly said “mommy…it’s in the trunk.”

Btw, our house construction plan has been approved by the architectural review board 4 months after initial submission and numerous revisions. The next step is construction documents and then the city’s approval.
Jonathan always thinks our new house is “Bob’s house.” Bob is our architect, and almost every time we talk about the house, we’d mention Bob. So whenever we visit the site, Jonathan would say…“Yeah! Bob’s house!” and then ask “Bob goes to work?”  It’s so funny how Jonathan thinks Bob goes out to work and lets us play at his house.
